The Panoramic Apartment project involved a full renovation and design detailing to create a holiday rental Air BnB.
Natural whites and natural textural finishes feature in a classic and timeless coastal palette for this historic beachfront apartment. Original hardwood wall paneling is repurposed as open kitchen shelves, with antique and reclaimed furniture completing the kitchen design. Natural timber finishes reflect the rainforest view from the louvered kitchen windows.
The overall design balances a depth of character with the lightness of a coastal breeze. Custom artworks by Banksiia Design Studio offer contemporary abstract detailing, reference organic line and form from the spectacular panoramic waterfront views.
Materials: Belgian Flax Linen, Natural Jute, Mango Wood, Reclaimed Hardwood, Recycled Glass, Custom Artwork.
